I provide a full range of clinical services for gay and bisexual men and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. My services include clinical consultation and assessment, individual therapy, couples therapy, education and training, and clinical supervision.

Clinical Consultation and Assessment
I provide clinical consultation for individual and couples to assess and help you determine your service needs. I also provide clinical assessment for agencies and services providers working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth and adults.

Individual Therapy

I provide short to long-term individual therapy for gay and bisexual men based on your specific issues and needs. Short-term therapy (3-4 months) focuses on addressing presenting issues. Long-term therapy (1 year or more) is needed to address deeper underlying issues (learn more about my approach).

I have extensive experience working with individuals in the following areas:

Couples Therapy
I provide short to intermediate term (3-6 months) couples therapy with the goal of supporting couples in staying together or bringing resolution to their relationship. It is important for both partners to be committed to the therapy process.

I have extensive experience working with couples in the following areas:

  • Conflict resolution and addressing differences
  • Relationship intimacy and sexuality
  • Issues in living together
  • Dependency and autonomy issues
  • Financial issues and arrangements

Education and Training
I have provided more than 200 workshops, trainings, and continuing education classes for helping professionals on the topics of working with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender populations; working with LGBT youth; and stress management.

Clinical Supervision
I provide clinical supervision for agencies and interns seeking licensure. I have 16 years of experience as a clinical supervisor and have supervised more than 30 graduate interns in obtaining their clinical license.
